Getting ready for winter...
I love everything about autumn -- cool days, clear blue skies and the amazing colors nature offers. I also love getting the house ready for the coming winter. That means bringing out the down comforters, flannel sheets and cozy throws. I started in the master bedroom and added some bold color to the mix this year.

Trial and error fall vignettes
Since I placed my living room couch diagonally a couple months ago, I have had space to decorate behind it, where I put a small book shelf. I also had my old windows layered with the photographs my husband took.

Fall and Family
I generally don't share much about my family life, but in reality, it's the most important aspect of my life, besides my faith. We had such a wonderful family weekend...very simple, but full of love, laughter and fun.
