Summer dining alfresco
We love to eat outside on the deck in the summer. OK, I like to eat outside on the deck and I would do it every meal if I could.

Blooms from the garden...
I tend to share the everyday things over on my facebook page and neglect sharing them here, so, if you don't want to miss anything, I would love to have you join me HERE.
I absolutely *love* pink lilies...specifically pink Asiatic lilies. I grew them for the first time when I lived in D.C., and even though I took the bulbs when I moved, sadly, the North Carolina squirrels ate them. My sweet mother gifted me with a box of assorted pink bulbs this year and this is the first one to bloom. Oh my how I love them:-)

Vintage, Southern front porch and a feature...
Last week I shared part of the back porch makeover HERE, now we are heading around to the front porch which also got some low-cost vintage styling.
The sign came off the original house of my grandparents here, and my dad let me have it several years ago.

Progress on the back porch
It seems like we have been working on the porches for months. We had to pressure wash, then I stained the decking and re-painted the back railings. I wanted a more vintage, country kind of style back here so I have done some changing.
